About Role:

The accounts receivable accountant will provide technical support to the team and be in charge of running the function on their own. The position will assist the treasury accountant with bank reconciliation and the AR team with maintaining student records in the finance management system. The position also helps with fee collection and advises students on financial matters pertaining to their tuition and other charges.

Responsibilities:

Following up with students on outstanding amounts and late payments.
Maintaining a status report on AR follow-up.
Data sorting and preparation in the fee revenue system, followed by uploading to Oracle.
Reconciliation of different financial systems and banking channels.
Creating invoices for clients.

Requirements:

Undergraduate Business/Commerce Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of accounting experience in a large/complicated organisation
Experience in the education sector
Oracle knowledge and experience are required.
