About Role:

Manage the accounts payable process, which includes reviewing and approving vendor invoices and expenses to ensure they are recorded and processed correctly. To ensure that invoices are processed and paid on time, keep vendor information up to date, including contact information and payment terms. Confirm that all vendor payments are accurate and up to date by reconciling vendor statements. Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally, and resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process accounts payable reports for weekly, monthly, and annual review by senior management.
Maintain a strong internal control framework to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounts payable process.
Assist auditors with year-end audits by providing requested documentation and information.
Maintain compliance and efficiency in the accounts payable process by staying up to date on changes in accounting regulations and best practises.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, as well as at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
Accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, and problem-solving skills are required.
Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounts payable software is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organisation.
