About Role:

Compiles and analyses account information to create asset, liability, and capital account entries. Enters account information to record financial transactions. Verifies the accuracy of documents such as invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, and so on to support financial transactions. Follows internal controls to maintain financial security. Verifies documentation and requests disbursements to prepare payments.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile vendor, customer, and bank accounts on a regular basis.
Maintains customer trust while protecting operations by keeping financial information private.
Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner to provide customer service.
Verify partners’ contracts and ensure that details such as billing names and all financial information are in accordance with IFRS 15 and are reflected in the billing system.
Ensure timely month-end closing and monthly closing package preparation.
Prepare the quarterly VAT file and provide the tax consultant with any relevant documents.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested schedules and documents.

Requirements:

You have at least four years of accounting and finance experience.
You are detail-oriented, structured, and know how to prioritise; you see yourself as someone who delivers solutions rather than bottlenecks to be resolved.
You can communicate with senior executives and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
You are someone who is energised by the unknown and looks forward to learning new things on the job every day.
You have strong analytical and communication skills and enjoy working with a variety of tools.
You also have strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. You can rally several teams and stakeholders behind a mission.
Fluency in English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.
