About Role:

Accountants assist businesses in making financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the company’s financial position. They keep track of transactions, compile and analyse data, perform audits, help with budgets and financial forecasting, compute taxes, and report their findings to management and other entities such as the IRS or investors.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and organising all pre-closure meetings with relevant finance teams, which are then documented.
All stakeholders should receive comprehensive financial and accounting advice.
Ensure that all accounting treatments adhere to IFRS. Every deviation is discussed and agreed upon with management.
Ensure that the TB is distributed to finance teams within two working days.
Ensure that all TB queries are answered within one working day.
Ascertain that no errors exist in any of the trial balances (TBs) under your supervision.

Requirements:

Ensure audits are finalised/closed/signed of latest by 28 Feb.
Ensure and align there are no topics in the Management Letter or any avoidable uncorrected misstatements in the representation letter.
Ensure Allied separate and consolidated FS are prepared by 20th January.
Ensure Allied consolidated FS are also signed by 28th Feb.
Participate, supervise and coordinate preparation of external audit documentation and external stakeholders reporting
