About Role:

Amazon Payment Services is looking for a Financial Analyst to support their MENA region business. The individual will be part of a team that is in charge of creating and submitting POs (in close collaboration with external parties and the business), accounts receivable, collection, period end closing, long and short term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, developing and reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics, and providing analytical support to Senior Business Management. A candidate with strong communication and leadership skills is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and support merchants Settlement and reconciliation of payouts.
Complete cycle of accounts receivable past due balances, including research, analysis, and customer contact.
Closing at the end of the full cycle period ( Accruals, record revenue, payment application) Account reconciliation (s), To ensure timely and accurate receivables, manage and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Invoicing and reconciliation at the bank

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent. ·
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science), or an equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced Excel and business modelling abilities are required (pivot tables, V-look ups, Macros, etc.) ·
