About Role:

Outgoing payments must be processed in accordance with financial policies and procedures. Perform daily financial transactions, such as verifying, categorising, and recording accounts payable data. Consolidate the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are properly accounted for and posted.

Responsibilities:

By reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements, you can confirm and investigate any discrepancies.
Send bill reminders and contact clients to facilitate payment of past-due invoices.
Create reports that detail the status of accounts payables.
Recognize expense accounts and cost centres
Understands the compliance issues associated with accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)

Requirements:

Responsible for maintaining proper and complete records of the various contracts and agreements in order to ensure an accurate payment process.
Preparing the monthly accrual schedule and communicating with user departments about the administration of accruals and pre-payments for each month.
Handles related queries, handles direct payments and account reconciliation, and maintains and updates a list of specimen signatures to ensure proper record and file maintenance.
Participating in the recording, analysis, and maintenance of fixed assets.
Maintaining the fixed asset sub ledger/register, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation to the General Ledger control account, and so on.
