About Role:

Oversee all customer service areas. Check-in, Departure Gate, Transit, and Arrival are examples. Ensure that all functions are performed accurately and on time by company personnel as well as Handling Agent Staff to the highest standard. Assign pre-flight duties to all crew members and hold a debriefing to discuss any discrepancies. Direct Check-in personnel in the handling of passengers for any irregularities, invalid documents, and so on. Instruct check-in personnel on how to handle excess baggage charges. Make decisions about charging and waiving fees.

Responsibilities:

In the event of a denied boarding, direct check-in personnel and passengers. Update SSCI when downgrading or offloading customers.
Maintain positive working relationships with customs, immigration, security, police, medical, cargo, ground transportation, catering, duty free, courier companies, tour operators, and other airline personnel.
Ensure that Company Policy and local policies for dealing with delayed services are followed, and that all assistance is provided to delayed passengers during such delays.
Ensure that the output of the handling agents is in accordance with company standards and the contract.
Ensure that the company’s safety and security standards are strictly followed.
Ensure that Company Regulations regarding lost/found/damaged baggage are followed, and that the time factor in this connection is not exceeded.

Requirements:

Experience working in Airside, Terminal, or Landside Operations at a medium or large-hub airport, both on a regular and irregular basis (IROPS).
5 years of relevant experience is required.
Ordinary National Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
