About Role:

We are currently looking for an Assistant Buyer who is responsible for providing ongoing support to buying activities and shoulders all the administrative responsibilities as functionally required by the Buying team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance of all seasonal purchasing information, such as purchase orders, product information, and order confirmations.
Assist the Buying team with weekly reporting and shipment updates by working with suppliers to submit vendor set-up documents through the portal.
Before market appointments, ensure that buyers receive pre-buy reports.
Assist in the creation of purchase orders
Follow up with suppliers to ensure that merchandise is shipped within the timeframes specified.

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
English proficiency with Excellent problem-solving, planning, analytical, and documentation skills, as well as a demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organisation
Customer-centered team player
