About Role:

Associate Managers are in charge of implementing workflow procedures as directed by the company’s General Manager. Their responsibilities include supervising employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations, and managing a workplace’s overall workflow.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and ensure that they are served on time and in accordance with quality and customer service standards by shop staff.
Communicate sales plans and targets to the Shop/Department team, monitor performance on a regular basis, and recommend corrective actions to the hierarchy as needed.
Assign routine and non-routine tasks, as well as assist in the preparation of schedules for Sales Associates, Cashiers, and Coordinators (as applicable), and ensure that activities are carried out in the most efficient manner possible.
To ensure operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction, report occurring operational issues and handle customer complaints in a timely manner, suggesting solutions or escalating them as appropriate.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science
1 – 2 years of managerial experience is required; retail experience is preferred.
Excellent product knowledge and understanding of store procedures
MS Office proficiency
Fluency in English Thorough product knowledge in all departments
Sports Goods Retail Specific: Active involvement in at least one sporting activity, as well as expert knowledge of sporting events
