About Role:

A healthcare assistant, also known as a nursing assistant or auxiliary nurse, helps healthcare professionals provide care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, or the patient’s home. The healthcare assistant works under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals to provide patients with direct care, comfort, and safety.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate the patient’s medical condition and develop a care plan tailored to their specific requirements.
Medication administration, including injections and IV therapy, as directed by the patient’s healthcare provider.
Medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and tracheostomy care are performed.
To ensure the patient’s stability and health, monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
Teach patients and their families how to manage their medical condition, administer medications, and stay healthy.
To ensure coordinated care, collaborate with the patient’s primary care physician and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

Health and social care NVQ qualification.
Pass a medical examination.
A clean background check was performed.
Experience in a caring role is preferred.
Previous medical experience is useful but not essential.
The desire to collaborate with people of all backgrounds, races, and creeds.
Excellent communication abilities.
Excellent listening abilities.
Physically capable of lifting patients.
A personable and approachable personality.
