About Role:

Performing Bike Repair Work Engines must be dismantled and defective parts such as magnetos, carburetors, and generators repaired or replaced. Using hand and power tools, remove cylinder heads, grind valves, scrape off carbon, and replace defective valves, pistons, cylinders, and rings. Hammer out dents and bends in frames, then weld tears and breaks before reassembling frames and installing engines. Other parts to repair or replace include headlights, horns, handlebar controls, gasoline and oil tanks, starters, and mufflers.

Responsibilities:

Motorcycle subassemblies such as forks, transmissions, brakes, and drive chains must be repaired and adjusted to specifications.
Hand tools, arbour presses, flexible power presses, and power tools can be used to replace defective parts.
Subassembly units must be reassembled and tested.
Disassemble subassembly units and visually or with gauges inspect the condition, movement, or alignment of parts.
Any other task that Management assigns.

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of fundamental mechanical principles, practises, and procedures as they apply to bicycles.
Capability to listen, read, and follow instructions.
Detail-oriented and exact.
The ability to use simple tools.
Outstanding problem-solving and customer service abilities.
