About Role:

Follow traffic laws as well as state and federal transit regulations. Passengers should be dropped off and picked up at designated locations. Follow the procedures to ensure the safety of the passengers. Maintain the bus’s cleanliness and public appearance. Accommodation and transportation are included in the salary.

Responsibilities:

Follows a predetermined bus route, stopping at predetermined points to pick up and drop off passengers.
Collects fares and provides information about the bus route.
During the route, communicates with the dispatcher via two-way radio; provides updates to the dispatcher and reports emergencies, traffic patterns, or accidents.
When assistance is required, assists passengers on and off the bus.
Before beginning the day’s assigned route, visually inspects the bus.
Reports any mechanical problems with the bus, such as faulty brakes, steering, or other problems.

Requirements:

Capability to safely operate a bus.
Extensive knowledge of traffic laws.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to diagnose mechanical problems are required.
Outstanding time management abilities.
