About Role:

Parsons is looking for an exceptional CAD Operator to join our team! In this role, you will create engineering drawings from design and site information that include plans, profiles, cross sections, standard details, and so on.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with the engineers.
Maintain current knowledge of CAD and GIS development and software.
Design and shop drawing creation.
Drawings for layout, profile, cross section, standard details, and so on.
Preparation of As Built Drawings (CAD & GIS) in accordance with ADM specifications.
Data exchange between CAD and GIS.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and three (3) years postgraduate experience as a landscape CAD/GIS operator are required.
Alternatively, a diploma in engineering and at least five (5) years postgraduate experience as a landscape CAD/GIS operator are required.
Alternatively, a certificate or diploma in drafting and a minimum of seven (7) years postgraduate experience as a landscape CAD/GIS operator are required.
At least three years of direct and related experience on park, public realm, and other landscape projects is required.
