About Role:

Help the Resident Engineer/ARE. Follow up on construction activities on the job site. Ensure that the Contractor follows the construction documents and the most recent Authority regulations. Assist with the review of Contractor Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.). Provide all necessary on-site guidance. Assist in supervising site inspection staff as directed by the Resident Engineer/ARE. Examine the work measurement. Follow site safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Report back to the Resident Engineer/ARE as needed.
Keep an eye on the contractor’s resource allocation.
Assist in the review of project close out documents.
As directed by the Resident Engineer/ARE and the project Safety Representative, act positively and participate in all health and safety issues on site.
Other responsibilities related to this position may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of ten years’ experience working on construction projects. Experience in Dubai is preferred.
Experience with high-profile, fast-track projects is preferred.
Computer software knowledge and experience.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to communicate with management and staff in a logical and clear manner.
