About Role:

Interviews patients in clinics, hospitals, and other locations to determine their mental and emotional illnesses, implements treatment plans, and analyses medical and social case histories.
Observes patients in a variety of settings; chooses, administers, and interprets psychological, personality, or other types of tests to identify disorders and create treatment plans; and offers advice to other mental health experts about test results.Utilizing a variety of psychological procedures, one can treat psychological illnesses in order to bring about better changes. One chooses the best treatment strategy and arranges the frequency, intensity, and duration of individual, group, and family therapy.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary; consults and counsels family members as necessary.
Documents therapy in accordance with medical record rules and procedures; implements and abides by regulations that guarantee patient confidentiality.
offers crisis intervention in circumstances calling for rapid psychological care.
participates in seminars, in-service training, clinician meetings, and educational programmes to advance professional development and keep methods and approaches up to date.

Requirements:

Understanding and aptitude for using modern special education strategies and techniques that are pertinent.
understanding of the norms and requirements for accreditation and certification.
understanding of crisis intervention methods.
the capacity to monitor, evaluate, and document symptoms, responses, and development.
