About Role:

A Construction Worker is a professional who operates compacting equipment, uses explosives for jobs such as tunnelling, and assists carpenters or electricians by moving forms that have been set up in concrete shapes before pouring it out on-site.

Responsibilities:

Help tradespeople and machine operators with construction projects.
Safely erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other structures.
At construction sites, unload and transport materials.
Break down old forms and structures with equipment.
Demolish structures using explosives in accordance with the instructions.
Build structures or fill gaps by preparing and applying construction materials (e.g cement)

Requirements:

Experience as a Packing Supervisor or in a comparable position is required.
Experience in supervision and management.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking and negotiation abilities.
Strong organisational and planning abilities.
A minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in the retail and fit-out industries is required.
