About Role:

A Data Entry Operator is a professional who is responsible for entering all data into various computer databases. They also manage and maintain effective record keeping, organising files to collect data for future use.

Responsibilities:

mid-volume data entry tasks (average: 4,001 to 8,000 keystrokes per hour).
fundamental file management tasks for electronic files (i.e., print, copy, transfer and delete).
accesses data stored on a computer and/or looks after a database on a computer.
enters information for correspondence, form letters, labels, and envelopes.
creates and formats documents.
utilizes numbers (i.e., add, subtract, multiply and divide).
detects problems and fixes them.
utilizes computer software, such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Requirements:

Can operate standard office equipment (including a photocopy machine, facsimile machine, binding machine, etc.).
Experience with data entry (especially in CPG companies)
Knowledge of manufacturing or R&D formulations is preferred.
Has the ability to adhere to instructions.
Excel proficiency (intermediate level)
