About Role:

Manage and lead the ADNOC Distribution Data Science practise by using statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognise patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries that lead to better business decision making.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities to use company data to drive business solutions.
Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimisation and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
Examine the efficacy and precision of new data sources and data collection techniques.
Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimise customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.

Requirements:

7+ years’ practical experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics
Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
Relevant experience in O&G Retail is an advantage
Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Spotfire, SQL, and programming languages (i.e.,Java/Python, SAS)
