About Role:

We’re looking for a dental assistant. You will assist with patient preparation, sterilisation of instruments, room setup, and some dental hygiene tasks. You should have a dental x-ray certification and provide excellent patient care to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

Preparing patients for dental work.
Assisting with infection control by sterilising and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
When necessary, assisting dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures as needed.
Excellent patient care.
Keeping track of treatment information in patient records.
Using dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programmes.

Requirements:

Certification or an associate degree in a dental assisting programme that is accredited.
License as Dental Assistant.
Certification for dental x-rays.
Program completion in dental hygiene.
Experience with a variety of computer tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Capable of providing excellent patient care.
