About Role:

A Driver will ensure their clients’ safety and comfort by providing driving services. Drivers will plan their route before leaving the office. They’ll pick up anyone who requests it at an agreed-upon time and possibly assist them with luggage loading and unloading as needed during each trip. Meanwhile, they will pay close attention to traffic updates to ensure that their clients arrive on time.

Responsibilities:

Plan your driving routes ahead of time to find the most efficient route.
Pick up clients from the location and time specified by them.
Collect money and provide receipts
Assist customers with luggage loading and unloading.
To stay informed about road conditions, listen to traffic and weather reports.
As needed, modify the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
Respond to clients’ inquiries about the area and nearby points of interest.
Ensure that all passengers’ car seats are clean and comfortable.
Make regular car service appointments and report any problems.

Requirements:

Proven driving experience
A current driver’s licence
a spotless driving record
A minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) is required.
Knowledge of GPS devices
familiarity with the area’s roads and neighbourhoods
Lifting heavy packages and luggage
Availability to work weekends and nights on occasion
A courteous and professional demeanour
The ability to remain calm in high-stress driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
A high school diploma is required.
