About Role:

Preventative maintenance of 415 volt high voltage switchgears such as breakers, MCCB, contractors, overload relays, and switchgear function checks Power transformer experience is required for routine tests, break down voltage tests, oil both tests, and mechanical device functional checks on the system. Preventive maintenance on motors, starters, etc.

Responsibilities:

Preventive maintenance is performed on motors, starters, transformers, generators, battery banks, and distribution boards.
Experience with test equipment such as a secondary injection relay kit, Megger, cable fault locator, CRM, breaker timing, temperature gun, vibration metre, multimeter, and clamp metre is required.
Installation of cable trays, cable laying, conduits, glanding, and LV and MV cable terminating;
Should be able to examine all of the control schemes of three-line diagrams of the switchgear panel to understand the fault and attend to the fault during an emergency.
Work on danger awareness and area clarification.

Requirements:

Minimum five years of field experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
Expertise in preventative maintenance of UPS systems, battery charger & inverters and variable frequency drive (VFD);
Expertise with HV, MV, and LV circuit breakers such as ACB, VCB, and SF6 Breakers from various manufacturers (ABB Schneider & Siemens, for example) is required.
Expertise installing and maintaining fire alarm systems, as well as knowledge of alarm control, such as how to respond if an alert goes silent or how to reset the panels;
Strong technical and communication skills are required.
