About Role:

Manage your M&V portfolio of accounts’ technical, financial (e.g., delivered cost avoidance and project gross margin) and contractual targets, including project management of deliverables and scheduling and financial coordination of local and remote global resources. Create and carry out Measurement and Verification (M&V) plans for ESPC projects. Provide M&V support to the sales and engineering development teams in response to ESPC RFPs/RPQs. Assist in estimating M&V costs for various stages of performance contracts.

Responsibilities:

Examine bid packages and submittals for quality assurance and to ensure that M&V requirements are identified correctly.
During the proposal, energy audit, design, construction & commissioning, and performance periods, coordinate M&V activities with the Energy Analyst (EA), M&V Risk Specialist, Solution Development Engineer (SDE), Project Construction Manager (PM), and design and commissioning engineers.
Review baselines, design intent, and savings calculations with Energy Engineers.
Review, analyse, and manage other people’s energy analysis, such as utility bill accounting, GHG inventory, end-use analysis, and tariff modelling. As needed, advise or perform the aforementioned.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution is required.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, as well as three years of experience in HVAC, building controls, and/or ESPC.
Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) certification is required, and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is preferred.
2-3 years of engineering and energy savings calculation experience for performance contracting.
