About Role:

An Engineering Technician will assist the Engineering Team in efficiently maintaining all hotel operations to ensure the highest levels of safety, security, conversation, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance in hotel rooms on a daily basis.
Respond quickly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise. Carry out the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure that all equipment and designated areas are kept in good working order.
Assist in the implementation of an energy-saving programme.
Recommend improvements to the maintenance system and energy savings.
Keep all tools, equipment, and work areas in good working order.
Maintain your technical training knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

A specialised certificate, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, is required.
Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
Excellent work ethic
A strong desire to provide excellent customer service
ability to work without close supervision and within time constraints
