About Role:

The client works in education and is looking for a Secondary / Higher Secondary English Teacher with an IGCSE syllabus for their teaching staff in Sharjah.

Responsibilities:

Create and carry out the preparation, planning, and delivery of child-centered learning activities for the class’s children –
To ensure high-quality learning, employ a variety of appropriate teaching and caring methods.
Provide the Principal or other authorised officer with planning documents outlining specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, special needs, extension, and assessment.
Being a facilitator in the classroom and interacting with children.
Encourage children to be proud of their surroundings and to show respect and concern for others, which will benefit the school as a caring community.
Be in charge of all aspects of classroom management.

Requirements:

UK Trained – Minimum of 5 years of secondary education experience with English as a subject IGCSE Curriculum background
Successful candidates who exemplify our Educator Image (collaborative, life-long learner, open-minded, respectful, passionate)
Minimum Postgraduate Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognised institution, requiring at least three years of full-time study
At least 5 years of relevant secondary school teaching experience (English).
