About Role:

We are looking for a self-starter who is organised to be our new operations assistant. The operations assistant’s responsibilities include reporting directly to the manager and filling in for the manager when they are unavailable. You should also be familiar with internal operations, such as taking minutes at meetings, forwarding and distributing mail as needed, and preparing and filing relevant documents.

Responsibilities:

Acting as the manager’s second-in-command and handling all duties in their absence.
Providing operational support to the Manager.
Meetings and team-building exercises will be scheduled as needed.
Responding to staff and other stakeholders’ questions as soon as possible.
Maintaining vendor relationships while providing excellent customer service.
Forms and other documents must be prepared and filed.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
It is possible that a relevant certificate will be required.
Previous experience in a comparable position.
Additional classes in Business Writing and Elocution are recommended.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
An eagerness to learn.
