About Role:

Update regularly the order placement against each Purchase requisition and Material requisition Responsible for expediting the orders and ensures that the material is delivered on time with all the applicable document deliverables. Monitor the supplier response on delivery and highlight the concern if any delay. Ensure the corrective actions are implemented.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that a detailed packing list is available for all deliverables. Coordination with Logistic Buyer to ensure freight forwarder completion on time to meet project deadlines.
Provide the Lead Expeditor with regular updates on material availability and shipments at the supplier’s end, as needed.
Responsible for updating the PO status in the computer program’s Procurement Tracker / Expediting Module.
Follow the day-to-day operations of one’s own job to ensure work continuity.
Coordination and organisation of all required certificates, as well as clarification of discrepancies, are required to pass the supplier inspection.
Other job-related responsibilities as assigned by the section head

Requirements:

Excellent command of technical terminology, particularly that used in the marine environment
Familiarity with material standards, certification, and the Quality Management System.
Working understanding of international trade and shipping terms
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
