About Role:

The Field Operator is in charge of operating and maintaining plant equipment to ensure peak performance and output while adhering to HSE regulations. This position collaborates closely with other engineering team members to achieve the company’s vision through clear deliverables. For any remote system support, the Operator will be required to work autonomously and communicate with external contactors and vendors.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and controlling the process parameters of a Carbon Capture plant and injection site as needed, and handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly fashion.
Understand, adhere to, and carry out the duties in accordance with approved available departmental standing orders, Standard operating procedures, and other work permit systems.
Operating and monitoring process equipment in a safe manner, as well as ensuring the availability of spare equipment for immediate use if required.
To ensure that the accurate condition of field equipment is maintained, communicate with supervisors immediately if any parameters abnormalities or process deviations are observed.
Maintain accurate, timely log data on equipment and closely monitor its performance.

Requirements:

Understand and believe in the concept of sustainability and negative emissions.
Problem-solving, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and reporting abilities
Excellent knowledge of operations, electronics, and control systems
A diploma in chemical, process, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering is required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the operations field
