About Role:

Compliance with the VAT and Economic Substance Regulations Every quarter/month, the VAT return is reviewed with the regulatory authorities. VAT returns must be finalised and filed. Monitor and track the accuracy of VAT liability captured in the system for all AP and AR invoices. Filing Voluntary Disclosures and Requests for Reconsideration with

Responsibilities:

Managing VAT compliance and applying for VAT registration.
VAT positions from AR and AP are communicated to the Business team.
Keep up to date on the VAT. FTA public clarifications and changes to system/filed returns
Obtaining VAT clarifications through an FTA.
Respond to VAT inquiries from the Business and Finance departments
ERP / System Development – Feedback to the IT team on VAT-related system developments.
Coordination with attorneys for the filing of a statement of claim with the court.

Requirements:

Education: A university graduate in Finance/Accounting is required.
2 to 4 years of experience is required.
System Knowledge: SAP and ERP system exposure, MS Office Interaction Personal Qualities: Excellent
Communication Skills: Excellent
Good Presentation Skills
