About Role:

We are looking for an experienced native Arabic speaker Financial Controller to handle all aspects of financial management, such as corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. Financial risk management will be another responsibility of the Finance Controller.

Responsibilities:

Establishing and maintaining banking relationships.
Coordination with external, compliance, and tax auditors.
Administering loan agreements for company borrowings and collecting customer monies owed to the company.
Manage late payments to reduce bad debts and establish a credit limit policy.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and financial statements on time to demonstrate the company’s financial position and performance, as well as monitor areas for improvement.
Preparing, monitoring, and balancing cash flows into and out of a business in order to meet obligations, optimise investment, and reduce funding costs.
Manage and develop the finance and accounting team in order to improve team capabilities, career advancement, and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Controller
Accounting advanced degree CPA or CMA preferred
Accounting principles and procedures must be thoroughly understood.
Financial statement creation experience
Working knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Outstanding accounting software and administration skills
