About Role:

The General Accountant, who reports to the Head of Finance, will support accounts payable and receivable as well as help the financial accountant with month-end close. Additionally, the position supports cost control, upgrading finance department processes, and maintaining cost coding structures.

Responsibilities:

Producing and distributing reports on various projects and cost centres.
Maintaining all communications, accounts, and records for funding programmes, both internal and external.
Reconciling payroll preparation
Maintaining the fixed assets and work-in-progress record registry.
Executing reconciliation between various banking channels and financial systems.
Performing transections and intercompany reconciliation

Requirements:

Undergraduate business and commerce degree or comparable job experience
5+ years of expertise in financial accounting in a big or complicated organisation
