About Role:

The goal of this role is to ensure that STARTRADER maintains accurate financial records, such as ensuring that books are balanced, tax obligations are met, and that you can make confident business decisions based on sound financial data. You must be able to collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure that our financial information is always up to date.

Responsibilities:

Perform all accounting cycle activities such as journal entry processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
Manage the accounting function to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, such as statutory filing and tax compliance.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely accounting records.
Prepare financial statements and management accounts on a monthly basis.
Create an annual budget and forecast.
Maintain contact with external auditors and tax authorities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or finance
2 or more years of experience
Knowledge of financial reporting requirements
Accounting software knowledge, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
