About Role:

This position will report directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, but may be assigned to work with other engineers to gain experience and knowledge. Gain hands-on experience in Mechanical Static/Piping disciplines and make an immediate impact. Learn about codes, company specifications, and standards in the mechanical static/piping disciplines. Deliver mechanical engineering services on time and within budget to Wood, its customers, and applicable design, statutory, and regulatory specifications in a fast-paced and complex project environment.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to appropriate studies, analyse and recommend actions, and assist with the preparation of detailed design and drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports in collaboration with industry experts.
Through hands-on experience, you will gain a diverse understanding of your core discipline activities.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and, if necessary, seek assistance.
Learn about the fundamentals of health, safety, and the environment.

Possess a willingness to experiment in areas outside of your comfort zone in order to gain a broader perspective on the given assignment.
Use mechanical engineering to generate value for the company and its stakeholders.
