About Role:

The wow factor in hotels is provided by housekeeping. It’s the moment that guests walk into the hotel and are impressed, then enter their bedrooms and think ‘wow, this looks wonderful’. A Room Attendant will clean and service guest rooms to ensure everything is spotless and ready for guests in order to provide a great guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean and sanitise bathrooms, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, cups, glasses, silverware, and other assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures. removing trash/recycling, cleaning windows, and so on.
Wear safety equipment as specified by department regulations and any local legislative requirements.
Handle and store chemicals in accordance with hotel regulations and any applicable local legislation.
Greet and thank guests; notify supervisor when service is complete so that rooms can be sold or occupied. Report any rooms that are unable to be serviced to the supervisor in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements:

Proven cleaning or housekeeping experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of performance
Customer-focused and warm
Prioritization and time management abilities are required.
Working quickly while maintaining quality
Language proficiency in English
a high school diploma
