About Role:

Manage the onboarding process for all new employees, including pre-employment communication to ensure new hires are aware of the requirements for their role as well as the requirements for working and living in the UAE, liaising with IT for relevant system / email set-up, and processing staff ID cards.

Responsibilities:

Coordination of the school’s probationary, performance review, and appraisal cycles to assist school leadership in creating a high-performance culture, as well as advice to School Leaders on proper adherence, timelines, and expectations.
Source School Doctors and Nurses as needed, ensuring that the school has the necessary licences and insurance for these employees. Contact DHA/HAAD to obtain occupational health cards for school doctors and nurses.
Manage Life and Health Insurance applications, renewals, cancellations, and associated management for all school staff in accordance with Central Office HR processes and guidance.
Conduct pre-employment background checks on all employees in accordance with the Recruitment Policy and Child Protection Guidance, including references and suitability/police clearances, and ensure appropriate follow-up based on the results.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, recognised HR qualification, and/or professional accreditation are preferred.
Experience: At least three years of experience in a supportive HR role is required; knowledge of UAE labour law is preferred but not required. HRMS knowledge is advantageous.
