About Role:

Parsons is looking for an exceptional HSE officer to join our team! In this role, you will work with the Safety Manager and contractors to improve and implement Corporate HSE Management ethics.

Responsibilities:

Implement Modon and Parsons’ HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance and HSE targets, and suggest improvements.
Liaison with the Safety Manager and contractors to improve and implement Corporate HSE Management ethics.
Monitor contractors to ensure that applicable safety measures and best practises are being followed.
Examine the Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessment Plan for all critical activities and Monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures, job safety plans, and work method statements on the job site, and conduct an HSE visit and report to the Resident Engineer for immediate correction.
Examine and monitor monthly HSE inspections/reports from contractors.
Conducting monthly safety meetings, setting goals to address outstanding issues, and preparing and submitting minutes to all parties involved for follow-up.

Requirements:

At least 7 years of recent experience in infrastructure construction supervision.
With relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm, preferred.
Preferably with UAE experience, and a driving licence is an advantage.
Certifications (ADVETI), licences, or training in the UAE (for example, the NEBOSH Diploma, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification).
