About Role:

Support the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System’s policies, goals, and programmes. Encourage a risk-management culture throughout the organisation. Provide HSE assistance to projects, operations, technical teams, and service personnel. Coordinate HSE incident reporting with department representatives and ensure compliance with Company HSE reporting procedures. As needed, assist/participate in incident investigations. As needed, conduct HSE Performance Reviews/Analysis.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Company Contract HSE Management by reviewing and analysing technical evaluations for goods and services in accordance with the Company HSE standards as needed.
Support the continuation of assurance activities such as audits and verifications related to HSE Management Systems, ISO standards, and legal requirements.
Assist with system administration, including the use, administration, and development of HSE department-related software.
Assist in the administration of Radioactive Material Waste Management documentation and the licencing requirements of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).
Monitor HSE compliance and participate in safety and environmental reviews, audits, and inspections.
Create and support the implementation of specific HSE campaigns for operational sites.
Facilitate the updating of environmental impact assessments, studies, and associated registers, including consultant submission coordination;

Requirements:

Qualification recognised by the industry.
A degree or other recognised relevant qualification (particularly in the environmental field) is advantageous.
HSE experience of at least 5-10 years is required (in oil and gas is advantageous).
Knowledge of relevant ISO/industry standards and experience with HSE management systems
Experience in a health and safety role, preferably with international content.
Ability to provide dependable levels of support while also being able to escalate issues as needed.
Excellent understanding of IT systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite, which includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SharePoint and HSE reporting software is preferred.
