About Role:

To help local coworkers, offer skilled onsite IT support with a high level of service. Ensure the support for several Inter-IKEA IT systems and that expert knowledge is kept current with technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

Execute and oversee planned tasks such IT upgrades, rebuilds and maintenance on the local level.
Take the appropriate judgements and steps to resolve problems, prioritise problems in accordance with business requirements, and understand when and how to escalate problems in the support chain in close coordination with the Single Point of Contact (Helpdesk) in a timely and effective manner.
Safely coordinating and monitoring any unresolved incidents with IT Helpdesk Global
Ensure that all daily duties are carried out in accordance with the organisation’s policies, rules, and guidelines.
Give end users technical training.
Serve as a representative of Inter IKEA IT and its principles in the nation.

Requirements:

IT degree from a university, or something similar.
up to five years of experience in the IT industry, ideally in multinational corporations.
Ability to serve as an IT ambassador in the Distribution Unit by assisting end users and customising communication to various situations and people in an easy-to-use manner, hence reducing perceived IT complexity and structure.
the capacity to impart information, wisdom, and experience to peers.
Effective communication abilities that can facilitate the development of networks and interactions with internal and external contacts.
knowledge of the effects of change and the variety of requirements people have during a change process.
