About Role:

IT support specialists, also known as technical support engineers, provide information technology support to organisations in order to maximise operational efficiency. Their responsibilities include resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software installations, and improving information technology systems. They may also be required to assist customers with IT issues.

Responsibilities:

As needed, consult with IT managers and other departments.
Providing IT support to employees and customers.
End-user education on hardware and software functions.
Resolving logged errors as soon as possible.
Metrics for hardware, software, and system performance are tracked.
Upgrading hardware and software, as well as computer software.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
3-5 years’ experience as an IT support specialist is required.
Excellent technical support and problem-solving abilities.
Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Capability to assess IT requirements and train end users.
IT helpdesk software knowledge, such as Freshservice and SysAid.
