About Role:

IT Support is responsible for the upkeep of computer networks in all types of organisations, as well as providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the entire company. IT Support is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s computer systems, installing and configuring hardware and software, and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Some companies may require their IT Support to work shifts due to the nature of the job.

Responsibilities:

Installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Computer system and network monitoring and maintenance
Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner
Providing technical support throughout the organisation (this may be in person or over the phone)
Making accounts for new users

Requirements:

A logical, technical thought process
The ability to meet strict deadlines
Prioritization and delegation skills
A keen sense of detail
