About Role:

As a Lifeguard, you are in charge of supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers in order to provide an exceptional Guest and Member experience. A Lifeguard will also be expected to perform routine cleaning duties. You will be specifically responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Swimmers should be supervised to ensure their safety.
Ensure that guests feel secure in the pool area.
Inspect facilities for cleanliness; perform general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular intervals throughout the shift.
Ensure that swimmers practise safe swimming techniques; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations.
When an emergency situation arises, follow the emergency action plan and procedures.

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal skills
Qualification as a pool lifeguard
Committed to providing excellent customer service First aid and CPR certification
Excellent attention to detail High standards of cleanliness Ability to work in a professional and helpful manner on a consistent basis Previous experience in a similar environment
