About Role:

In charge of keeping track of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors. Payment vouchers must be signed. Provides transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure that material is delivered on time. Create standard operating procedures to efficiently manage logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that peacekeeping cargos and personnel are released in a responsible, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Create and implement logistics support policies, processes, and methodologies for the benefit of all units.
Create reports on material and personnel movements, as well as various operational logistics issues.
Taking orders, negotiating follow-up deliveries, and preparing delivery documents.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by excelling at receiving, identifying, dispatching, and ensuring product quality.
Measure and report the effectiveness of logistical activities as well as the performance of the team.
Maintain and organise the inventory and storage area.
Responds to routine internal and customer inquiries about delivery times and the status of shipments and orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering. It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
Only UAE nationals will be considered.
Working experience with freight forwarders for shipment.
Should have prior experience working with shipping, customs regulations, and handling formalities.
