About Role:

Responsible for coordinating with the Jebel Ali Operations Support Base (JAOSB) and the Procurement Department to ensure that all critical Offshore Material requirements are met on time through proper logistics planning and organisation. Responsible for staffing the Radio Room, establishing effective communications with all parties involved, monitoring and coordinating helicopter and marine movements, and establishing and maintaining clear communications during emergencies.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all Safety Critical items/units are certified and ready for use on a daily basis.
Inspect all items received against documentation, communicate with each user group for clearance, and provide audit trail reports.
Ensure that all Cargo Carrying Appliances (CCU) are returned and certified on time by effectively communicating and coordinating with the appropriate work groups.
Coordinate with Inventory, Stock Value, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) Order schedules to ensure that all Goods Returns are accompanied by the Return Request with Appropriate Workshop Corrective Maintenance (WCM) in a timely manner.
Receiving, issuing, replenishing, and maintaining critical spares stock at satellite warehouses in an auditable manner.

Requirements:

A high school diploma is required, and a university degree is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in radio operations and/or warehouse operations and logistics is required.
Experience in a remote area or in an offshore environment is preferred.
Certificate of Competence as a Radio Operator; Knowledge of radio operations to communicate with Vessel Captains/crew preferred;
VHF radio operator’s certificate of competence;
Excellent organisational and planning abilities;
Strong communication skills in English;
Capable of working in a stressful environment;
