About Role:

The Medical Physicist will perform Medical Physics compliance testing on radiologic equipment under the supervision of the Manager of Radiation Safety and Medical Physics/RSO to ensure its quality and optimal performance to ensure compliance with both UAE and International regulations.

Responsibilities:

Perform Medical Physics compliance testing, quality assurance, and radiation safety measurements on X-ray machines, CT scans, fluoroscopy, mammography, nuclear medicine equipment, and other medical devices.
Assist in the performance of non-ionizing radiation compliance testing for ultrasound and MRI machines.
Conduct and assist related institutes in obtaining accreditation for specific X-ray machines, such as CT Scan ACR accreditation, Mammography ACR accreditation, and so on.
Establishes and maintains a comprehensive Quality Assurance programme for CCAD and actively participates in the CCAD Radiation Safety Committee ( RSC)
Maintains an up-to-date inventory of all X-ray equipment at the CCAD, including all necessary data.

Requirements:

Medical Physics experience of at least five years is required.
Self-motivated with at least 5 years’ experience performing annual performance evaluations/surveys on all diagnostic imaging equipment such as radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, mammography, MRI, SPECT, PET, Ultrasound, and so on.
