About Role:

Packers are individuals who prepare finished goods for packaging and shipping. They accomplish this by ensuring that the items to be packed are present before securely wrapping them in accordance with company standards or requirements, and then loading the goods onto pallets ready for shipping.

Responsibilities:

Completed items should be packed, weighed, and labelled for shipment or storage.
Follow all company packaging guidelines to ensure that items arrive at their destination.
Prior to shipping defective items to customers, identify and dispose of them.
Use packaging materials properly, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, and so on.
Maintain detailed records on all materials that pass through the warehouse.

Requirements:

Work experience as a Packer or a similar role is required.
Manufacturing or a related field experience is preferred.
Basic shop skills, such as how to use hand tools
Following verbal and written instructions
Strong communication abilities and a desire to collaborate with other team members
A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
