About Role:

Packagers are in charge of cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and accurately weighing and labelling the items. They also perform final inspections for defective items, ensure that all working items reach the loading area or inventory, and maintain detailed records of materials and shipments.

Responsibilities:

Completed items should be packed, weighed, and labelled for shipment or storage.
Follow all packaging guidelines provided by the company.
Defective items must be identified and disposed of.
Use packaging materials properly, such as hand tools, glues, nails, padding, and so on.
Maintain detailed records on all materials that pass through the warehouse.
Maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

GED/high school diploma.
Manufacturing or a related field experience is preferred.
Basic shop skills, such as how to use hand tools.
The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with other team members are required.
