About Role:

gives consumers general health advice and dispenses prescription and over-the-counter medicines as well as non-pharmaceutical products. ensures that important sales targets, customer satisfaction levels, and operational readiness levels are consistently met by supervising the retail store personnel and operations.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates, prepares, and/or supervises the compounding, preparation, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals to patients or medical professionals; decides whether to use a generic version of a drug that has been prescribed.
Provides other drug and pharmaceutical information as necessary; consults with patients and/or medical professionals on drug indications/contraindications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
manages the purchase and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medications to numerous clinics, offices, and other locations.
During the course of work, provides instruction, direction, and training to students, pharmacy interns, and other trainees.

Requirements:

A pharmacy degree from an approved institution or school is required for pharmacists.
a hospital pharmacist with at least five (5) years’ worth of experience.
Current national identification card and DHA licence required for practise in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
solid command of English and proficiency with computers and Excel sheets. Arabic is preferred but not required.
knowledge of all DHA rules and regulations pertaining to drugs.
