About Role:

The printing machine operator will use the designated printing equipment to create printed materials and objects. utilises a range of printing equipment, such as offset, letterset, and screen printers. Examines client requests to comprehend the parameters and scope of print jobs. identifies the quantity needed for the print job. matching the colours for the print job as requested. configures and aligns equipment. examines random production samples to gauge printing quality.

Responsibilities:

keeps an inventory of the materials required to run printing presses.
investigates problems with the printer and performs simple fixes.
performs standard upkeep on printing equipment.
reports for daily output totals are drafted and submitted.
keeps the area surrounding the printing equipment clean.
does further relevant tasks as required.

Requirements:

For this position, the candidate must have an eye for detail, good vision, and no problems with colour identification.
To work in a manufacturing environment, a candidate needs to be physically healthy and fit.
strong ability to spot errors and solve problems
understanding of how to operate, maintain, and repair flexographic printing equipment
Good artwork layout skills, troubleshooting skills, and ability to make the proper ink adjustments to get the desired colour match
