Responsibilities:

Ensure timely delivery of the best possible products at the best possible price while adhering to the hotel’s quality and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper filing and allocation of purchase orders and supporting documentation in accordance with the Procurement Policy.
Ensures that goods and services are delivered on time.
Responsible for resolving complaints about vendors/delivered items or services raised by colleagues or HODs, as well as filling out complaint forms as needed.
Maintain a list of approved and non-preferred vendors in accordance with the Procurement Policy and the respective HOD’s vendor performance feedback report.
Responsible for making market purchases when a supply is unavailable but the department requires it.

Requirements:

A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role is required.
He/she must have worked in a high-volume hotel and in the procurement function.
Must be computer savvy, with excellent MS Excel skills and prior experience with the FBM system.
A background in food and beverage is advantageous.
