About Role:

We need a sharp procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-effective and of high quality. Supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and keeping accurate records are all responsibilities of the procurement officer.

Responsibilities:

EMC is collected from the demand planner and updated in the import and local files.
Managing Categorized Products – Inventory and Availability
Plan, execute, and complete purchases with appropriate suppliers in the local and international markets.
Finding new suppliers with reasonable pricing and payment terms
Negotiate the price, quality, and delivery terms with the suppliers.
Handling and monitoring of supplier claims and shortages.
Coordination with the supplier is required to ensure on-time delivery.
Assist relevant departments with new project quotations.

Requirements:

GED or high school diploma.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a comparable position is required.
Microsoft Office proficiency and software acquisition.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Experience in supervision and management.
Pay close attention to the details.
