About Role:

Interviews, hires, and trains new employees. Directs the department’s daily workflow and schedules, coordinating staff involved in the purchase, sale, and distribution of supplies, machinery, materials, or equipment. Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations. Handles employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

Creating and/or revising supply and service specifications.
Evaluates bids, ensuring that departmental and company policies and procedures are followed.
Distributes purchasing information to key stakeholders such as vendors, sales representatives, and employees.
Examines and evaluates purchase request forms for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements:

Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing procedures and policies.
Superior supervisory and leadership abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding organisational abilities and attention to detail.
The ability to read, interpret, and explain purchasing policies and procedures.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
